Eighth Annual Kauai Keiki Story Festival

This year, over 600 people showed up to enjoy the event. See more photos from the day here.

Kauai familes and communities celebrated keiki with the 8th Annual Kauai Keiki Story Festival on Saturday, October 24th at the Kukui Grove Shopping Center in Lihue. The festival was a free event with fun read alouds, performances, and activities for children and youth. They joined the spooky characters of the Aloha Dance Studio, Dr. & Mrs. Carolan and “A President from Hawaii”, the All Saints Preschool singers, numerous authors and celebrity readers, and Russell the Rooster.

There were educational booths, a costume parade, playgroups, and reading and health programs, with many make-and-take activities and booklets. The Read To Me table also had a book exchange.
